DVD's, and one for HD-DVD)? Eventually, even regular ole DVD lasers wont be installed in players anymore (aka floppy drives or 3.5 drives not installed on pc's anymore), you can reduce cost by not providing for it, especially for a very brief time frame HD-DVD technology were on the market, hence you have coasters, ya know, frisbies for Riley and Charlie, shiny stuff you can marvel at on a sunny day...

Re: 31 Days of Oscar on TCM

Someone might make one, but for the price you'll have to pay for it you'd probably be able to replace all your HD DVDs with blu-rays...if you stop buying them...

Jason A Clark's last blog post..The Ant & The Grasshopper - With Updated Version

Re: 31 Days of Oscar on TCM

Yeah, but VHS and Beta looked a lot different right? I remember being in film school and staying up all night watching old movies (and missing my eight o'clock class). I've probably got dozens of videotapes of movies I recorded when I was in class or working so I could watch them later.

Jason A Clark's last blog post..The Ant & The Grasshopper - With Updated Version

Re: 31 Days of Oscar on TCM

What a great list of movies!

Captain, this might help you with your list of 100 Best Movies to get through.
