    Our top 5 are pretty close in line. I have David Archuleta swapped with Syesha and Amanda is in my #5 spot instead of Jason (who was terrible last night). Simon was right, if that was on the radio (which is unlikely to begin with) I could not have changed the dial quick enough. Painful.

    Tired of these thematic weeks, tired of the Beatles...I'm ready for some good modern music.

    Michael Johns really needs to bust out of his shell already, she's just too quiet all the time.

    I think David Cook did great, was surprised not many liked him.

    Oh no you didn't...

    I agree that theme weeks are not the best way to showcase the talent - but bagging on the Beatles will get you put in Michael Stipe moratorium. :)

    I hate the idea of Beatles weeks back to back! The producers killed the show last night with that decision.

    Other than that, I don't think anyone's performance last night really changed anyone's minds. If you disliked Amanda before, you still do.

    @ Jina - I would agree with that statement - they should not have done back to back Beatles. That was a terrible idea.

    @Ape - I can see swapping David A and Syesha perhaps...but Amanda at #5? No way. And, like I said in the article, I'd turn off MOST of this nonsense if I heard it on the radio. Jason was much better than Amanda.

    @Jina - I think you're right about last night not changing many minds. Although, I think Syesha saved herself.

    I'm glad they are done butchering The Beatles. I wish Michael Johns would have done While My Guitar Gently Weeps. That would have been a great choice for him. David Cook was excellent as was Syesha. David A was also good but he just doesn't look comfortable to me. Great voice, but needs stage presence.

    It looks like we are thinking alike again. Kristy Lee Cook has been flirting with elimination for awhile now. I guess we'll see if it's her time or if she has keeps the magic touch and stays for another week.

    Time for Kristy Lee to go! And she even did her usual odd leg stance in a dress, bad bad. :)
    I agree with Jina, this week did nothing to change my faves. I do think Syesha improved but I still don't love her.
    David Cook should be a frontman now! He doesn't need Idol!

    Like Chris Daughtry, I doubt if David Cook really cares if he wins the show or not. He'll do well either way.

    Ya know, Amanda really made me like her last night. While I know she has no chance of winning the competition I think she'll do just fine. I don't think she has goals of becoming a super pop star or anything. She just wants to rock out with her c---well you know.

    I wish David Cook wasn't so good. I hate the fact that I have to see that emover week after week.
