American Idol 2008 - Top 16 Announced

    I liked Alaina Whitaker, so that's a bummer...she shouldn't have gone yet...

    No, Jason. You can only count those who you say will get cut. I had Alaina as a dark horse for getting cut too, but I said Kady would get cut. I was wrong, you were wrong, and America was wrong for not cutting Kady.

    The point is to make a final decision and not say a bunch of maybe's and think that's good enough.

    You can say you had called it in your post, but the cut decisions are what counts for us. Maybe we should have clarified the contest. It's okay to lose to me. It's been done many times before... LOL

    Jeff, you bring up a good and valid point in that we didn't actually clarify any set of rules in this contest of ours... I did, however, say that I'm 4-4 according to YOU, and that you are 5-3, clearly allowing that you have the lead according to your rules (however, arbitrary they may be).

    Oh, by the way, I did borrow those pictures from you. I'll return them early next week if that's cool...

    Arbitrary, please. You have the arbitrary rules. You pick two guys and two girls. Either they get eliminated or they don't. It's as simple as that.

    It doesn't really matter much who goes right now - the majority of the people left are riff-raff. The top 5 or 6 should be pretty strong though, probably stronger than past seasons.

    The church we go to is called Lifechurch.tv, and we just found out tonight that Alaina went to our church but at the Oklahoma campus...

    Wish they had let us all know, we may have been more inclined to vote!
