i was laughing out loud during david a. trying to cover chris brown. omg. you have to have a little soul in that song. that was the most vanilla r and b cover i've ever heard. and hearing david a. call a girl "mama" is hilarious!

David C is the best of the group and the only one who's material I could seeing buying. I expect David A to win and probably the only thing that might get me back next season is if he doesn't...even then...maybe not.

I respect Cook for choosing that Switchfoot song based not on strategy but just because it fit his mood, but it was a poor choice.
Only someone who thinks that "Pour Some Sugar On Me" is a good representation of Def Leppard would think that "I Don’t Want To Miss a Thing" is "one of the greatest songs ever." It's an overblown, sappy mess regardless of who performs it! Again, David made the most of a poor choice.
I thought Syesha held back on "Fever" and it'll cost her. The performance part was good, but the vocals were too restrained and lackluster. She's done better. She did very well on the Alicia Keys song, but it did sound almost note for note exactly like the original. Randy kinda did her wrong with that song choice.
By all rights, Archuleta should go tonight, but I'll bet it's Syesha instead. This squinty little squirt has survived far too long on the good graces (and speed dials) of prepubescent girls. And it was grossly unfair that Paula & the producers put him right into his audience's lap with sappy, slow songs.

I didn't even see the episode last night, I got a phone call and the wife watched it, and I'm sort of with Scott...I just don't care I guess.
Maybe it's the level of talent this year, it's just not up to snuff unless it's David Cook in my opinion.
Which I always find cringe-inducing :)
Anyway... this is my prediction: David Cook is going to win this thing. I don't know if that's a good thing for him, but I think it is definitely swaying that way. And I think the producers and judges know he will ultimately be more marketable in the future.
Take those 2 cents to the bank!
I dunno...but I do know I'll be watching next season again :)
I have his first album and it's pretty good although a good producer could have made it better.
I tend to agree with Rob, between lobbing him easy songs and all the teenyboppers David A's prob a shoe in.
Also to Mikes points, we've had more good talent this season, but very little great talent. David C may indeed be this years Daughtry and I actually think Syesha will have a better career that David A. I guess I'm 'just not likin it' when it comes to the rest of the top 10. :-)
