I definitely agree with you guys on the other counts. I too have seen a lot more comments and participation on my site since joining BZ. Of course, you all know how my numbers have gone up.
Markk is right in saying that a catchy title can certainly help your articles find success on BZ. Be careful not to mislead the readers, though, or look like you're trying TOO hard to be clever. I think it's a bit of a balancing act.
Also, just fyi, I don't submit all of my articles to BZ because I know that some articles won't do well and I think it's a little bit of an incentive for people to subscribe to my feed or come back to visit my site.
