Comic book review: “War Heroes #1″ (2008)

In the latest series from Mark Millar (Wanted, Kick-Ass, 1985), the United States of the very near future is still fighting the war on terrorism in Iraq, soldiers are dying, the economy sucks and the president’s approval ratings are non-existent.

  • Interesting write-up... what originally didnt sound appealing at all, now sounds appealing... well done... sounds a bit along the Line of Luthors plan to give everyone superpowers so Superman is no longer special and eveutally cause his downfall (52 series)...
  • Yeah...we'll see how it goes....I am just curious how much of it was a serious story, and how much was meant to be tongue-in-cheek.
  • I've noticed that Mark Millar's stories always invariably involves the complete or near total destruction of the United States. Makes you wonder if Mark Millar has an inherent dislike of the country, or if blowing up America is the only way he knows how to write a comic book...
