But, how much a fan I ever am of Ewan Mcgregor (absolutely love him), I had hoped for a pure Italian actor to play the part of the Camerlengo.

I do have faith in Mcgregor (I mean, there's a reason why he was cast), but he's just not THE ONE Camerlengo for me. The character is so powerful and enigmatic that I have a hard time picturing beautiful singing and Star Wars-known Mcgregor in the part. However, I AM excited to see the movie. Can't wait another year!

Re: Ewan McGregor Recently Cast In “Angels & Demons”

I read "Angels and Demons" before I read "Da Vinci Code" and I really enoyed it. After reading both books I then rented the movie. It just didn't translate from book to movie as well as eveyone hoped it would. I think "A&D" as a movie will be at least %50 better then it's predecessor, just because of the superior plot and action. I also like the idea of Ewan being cast. Excellent choice for this character in my option. I am actually hopefull that this movie will turn out good. Exciting.

Raven Spinners last blog post..My Alternatives to Plastic!

Re: Ewan McGregor Recently Cast In “Angels & Demons”

I'll go see it now. :)

Re: Ewan McGregor Recently Cast In “Angels & Demons”

I liked Angels and Demons much better than Da Vinci Code and not just because of all the biblical controversy. It's a better story and hopefully will make a good movie.

Scotty Dubs last blog post..Lessons from the Rocket and many others
