Gah.... stoopid prequels... "It just seems pointless.." Aye... it like you said Budwieser.. cause you said it all!!

How many people would go see a Titanic prequel?!?!

*Jumping up and down with hand raised* I would, I would!!

Serious? Really?!?!?! What would be the point though?
  • The Kid and I · 1 year ago
    No, not seriously...

I was gonna say, do you and Jason ever talk

I'm not always a fan of prequels, but this one could be good. There's a lot of story untold and blanks that could be filled in. Besides Will Smith usually delivers.

Prequels can be good I guess (i'm one of the few that enjoyed Star Wars Prequels), but mainly I'm a 'what happens next ' kind of guy.

Well, I'm not against prequels necessarily, but I think they need a story to tell. I just don't see anything compelling in the story of Smith's character prior to when I Am Legend starts - that is compelling enough to erase the fact that we already know how everything got started and how it ultimately ends for Smith.

Perhaps the prequel tells a story of how Smith Character develops an immunity to incendary grenades and therefore we can have a sequel =)

Also, keep in mind we didn't actually see him die and of course there's the whole alternate ending. while a sequel seems unlikely and that's probably a good thing, a prequel might still be fun. Besides, in Hollywood if an idea can be profitable then it must be good.

Look for 'I will be Legend' coming to a theater near you.

Where were you when I was coming up with the title of this article...?
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
A great title and I'm the only one giving him a point for that? :)

Seems to me that the only space to play in would be another one along the horror lines where the vampires are beginning and taking over the city, while people fight them off and try to escape, but it would still be pretty meh to me.

    Agreed
