I am so excited to seeing Mel back on the big screen,it's been much too long. Good to hear he went to rehab. I am a recovering alcoholic and he's just going to have to remember One Step at A Time. I am so proud of him and can't wait to see his new movie, and hope to seee more to come.
God Bless you Mel. Go for the the Gusto!!!! Hope to see him on talk shows promoting his new flick.
Especially 20/20 and Ellen DeGeneres she would be a perfect host for him.

Having been a fan of the original miniseries, I'll say that Mel can pull off the somber, rather depressed nature of the original detective Craven (?) (think Lethal Weapon Mel minus the crazy and badass), but to be honest with you I'm concerned about how it's all going to be re-written. Hopefully they don't give him much control over the content, though maybe I blame him for Randall Wallace's sins, too. Hard to say.
