Michael Turner’s death saddens the comic book world

He was battling cancer for awhile, but died at the very young age of 37. According to what I’ve read, Turner was an exceptional artist, having worked for both DC Comics and Marvel, with covers ranging from Superman/Batman, Civil War and Uncanny X-Men, to Witchblade and Fathom.   • Second best looking Number Six ever. What a talent. But if anyone has to die, the least they can hope for is that they made a difference in someone's life and he was instrumental in giving people a little entertainment so he left this world with something positive behind him.

  • Mo thanks for the post, to say he was an exceptional artist is putting it lightly, the brother could draw like there was no tomorrow. He brought life to heroes that had them in all sorts of jaw dropping action. He made them appear alive and you can almost see them moving from a still block on a page (I have this killer Flash picture/poster I'll have to send your way) , from all articles written , the guy was also an ultimate class act, and is a true loss to the comics community.
