Movie Review: ‘2 Days in Paris’ (2007)

I enjoy talky movies most of the time, especially when done very well and the characters involved are engaging with the dialog and with each other. A talky movie to me is defined as a film taking place mostly with dialog as the main element of the plot.

  • Good review Mike. Not being one that is huge on the Romantic-Comedy front when it comes to movies, I do like independents and this sounds like I might actually rent this. One of the reasons that I liked Sideways so much was that I took it to be so dialog driven and I loved that. Especially when the dialog is well written and witty.

  • Ape, have you seen Before Sunrise or Sunset? If so, I'd recommend those first before you check out this one. They are unrelated, but it does give you a good introduction to Julie Delpy and both are better than this one.
