Movie Review: “Baby Mama” (2008)

Tina Fey can do no wrong in my eyes, so I was excited to check out Baby Mama on Friday. Her close friend and Saturday Night Live buddy, Amy Poehler, was also in the film and did a pretty admirable job.

  • I thought it was better than a 5.5! But I agree that it was highly predictable.
  • I figure 5 is average, so I thought it was just an average movie...it got a point-5 because Tina Fey was in it :)
  • ok so hows this for making it unpredicatable.. what if Sigourney Weaver was Ripley in this movie and implanted Alien embryo's into surrogate mothers?!!? Huh? ya... hows that for a twist!!
  • Disappointed to hear the movie was not better.
  • If Mike, who loves Tina Fey only slightly less than Jina (I'm just assuming), only gave it a 5.5, what chance does it have of even breaking .500 for the rest of us? I'm disappointed. I was hoping it would be really good.
  • I think he was a little hard on it, but go (or wait and rent it) and decide for yourself.
  • All the clips I've seen have been really funny. Is it one of those movies where all the funny stuff is already in the commercials so it's not funny anymore when you're sitting in the theater?
