Good review. I thought it was a fun summer movie that was ridiculous at times. I agree with you that Nathan Fillion would be a much better indy than Shia. Fillion is just a bad ass in Firefly and Serenity amongst other things he has been in.

I saw this, this weekend... the movie is entertaining, its ok, its just not great (really, swinging with monkeys did not need to happen...) its not an Indy esque movie, it moves much more slower than other Indy movies...

If it's really crappy, I would almost blame it on Lucas rather than Spielberg. That guy peaked a long time ago... yet we keep giving him money.

I was afraid this one might disappoint. I'll still see it, but it sounds like maybe they should have just left this franchise alone.

Btw, is it just me or does Speilberg seem to be slipping lately. War of the Worlds was mediocre and now Indy, hopefully this isn't a trend.
