New Lost Season 4 poster has mysterious reflection

Started by Mike Olbinski · 10 months ago

This post has some spoilers from season 3 and 4 in it, so you may not want to read any further if you are behind.
Figured you Lost-Aholics out there would like this new poster that ABC has out there now, which shows the castaways standing on the beach, with tall palm trees in the background ... Continue reading »

  • Awesome! I can't wait until next Thursday for the journey to begin again. I may have to borrow someone's Season 3 DVDs to watch for a refresher.
  • Jina, that's the best idea you've had all week :)

We do need to see that finale again. Damn I wish I had blu-ray :(
  • I tried to tell ya .... but noooooooooooooooooo the Capn is whacked in the head...he has no idea what hes talking about....... =)
  • Clicking the picture takes you to a thumbnail of it. I deleted ".thumbnail" from the url to see the pic, so it is there. Might want to check that.
  • Thanks Knight, my bad on that :(
  • I know man, we've been thinking about trying to borrow season 3 from some friends to watch some episodes, but I don't think we'll be able to.

I actually think I'll wait until I get that Blu-Ray player someday and then watch Lost from the beginning again.
  • Funny, I just noticed the reflection tonight on TV and thought I was "dumb" for not noticing it for three years. :)

At first, I thought it might be the Seoul skyline (because the DARMA logo mimics the South Korean flag), but it definitely isn't. Nor is it NY, LA or Sydney. The buildings are too spaced apart (and too evenly spaced apart) to be a "real" skyline, so I suspect it is some fictitious industrial home/city of the people running the project.
  • Three years ago? This is pretty new, you aren't saying there was this poster that long ago?
  • Woot!!!

I can't wait, but I would rather...Still, it will be fun to have this back on again.
  • @ Mugsy - We know that they launch out of Seattle and they recruited Juliet from Miami - both of those cities have skylines as well.
  • Spoiler Alert maybe

I just downloaded the new Lost poster, the one with the skyline reflecting in the water. Anyone notice the image in the water in the forground?
I think that is the greek symbol THETA. Some people use that symbol to describe the effect of time on appearance, or in other words a person's appearance versus time.
Would I be goofy to asume that the island is one big time machine?

  • I still think that symbol is a 6, which has to do with the Oceanic 6...

But the island being a time machine? Maybe!
  • Interesting thought, particularly since time does seem to be a major part of the story.
