To do better than The A-Team would require an original idea, which, I think it's safe to say, have gone extinct in Hollywood. Therefore, they had no choice but to resurrect The A-Team because if you have a mission and no one else will help, who else can you turn to?

That's the beauty of the A-Team. They're so good they don't actually have to shoot anyone because they're able to shoot close enough and plan explosions so precisely as to disable even the most stubborn enemy without doing any more harm to them than a mild concussion.
