    Chloe was presumed dead after she was blown up in the safe house in the finale of the 3rd season and wasn't discovered to be alive until the 2nd epi of the 4th season (I think that was Gone).

    CLEARLY, it will be Lionel, especially after last nights episode... Season 7 has megatron blown so far right up until THAT AWESOMENESS THAT RAWKED LAST NIGHT!!! WOW!! what an ending.... great episode again FINALLY!!!

    but, you can see how it is setting up, that Lionel will bite it...
    also, everyone has been presumed dead except for him on the show...man , what an episode last night!!

    Somehow if Clark is the killer, I don't think it's on purpose.

    At this rate, I am thinking Lex kills Lionel.

    Lionel was presumed dead by Lex and the media when Lana kidnapped him. Martha wasn't in season 7 so she technically hasn't been around since season 1.

    Has there been ANYONE no presumed dead? Even Chloe was dead a few times after her powers came to be.

    Mike,
    I think everyone who has been on for the entire series has been presumed dead, unless it's someone unexpected that we're overlooking.

    It's possible the spoiler came before one of the presumed deaths, lionel for example, or they just overlooked the death when they declared the spoiler. It could be a mistake, because I cannot think of ANYONE who would fit into the entire spoiler.

    I was also thinking that if it was Lionel, wouldn't they have to have Lex kill him, since that's what happened in the comics? If so, the identity of the killer would not be the biggest shock, but would be kind of expected.

    What do u think?

    Yeah, I think that it could have been an overlooked spoiler or something that was just not conveyed correctly to Ausiello maybe?

    Either way, if Lex kills his dad in the comics, then I definitely think that's what's coming.

    Yeah, I was totally thinking that Lex was going to kill Lionel, but then i read the spoiler and totally got thrown off track. Now I'm not sure what to think.

    For not, I'm going to stick with Lex killing Lionel because that makes the most sense to me.

    There's a new spoiler. The character who's going to die has never been presumed dead by the audience. That sounds like it's going to be Lionel now. We'll just have to wait and see.

    Presumed dead by the AUDIENCE is a good point though, we always knew Lionel was alive.

    MAN WHAT AN EPISODE!!!!!! Holy cow back to grandure that was, my gosh,spectacular doesnt cover how that one went. Lex evil as evil gets holy crap. Michale Rosenbaum did a fantastic job on this one. This episode was loaded with tid bits left and right, man... good one :)

    well it cant be chloe, bc she was prounced dea in the fourth season, and also in the begining of the 7th season, but she came back, and lionel luther was pronounced dead in season 7 as well, when lex pushed him out of the luthercorp building. so this should be interesting bc everyone on that show has been prunounced dead atleast once, including clark when he was mortal, lana twice, chloe twice, i think lois was dead at the end of season 6 when she gt stabbed but then chloe came to her rescue and healed her, jonathan is dead, well the only one left is martha, i think. =)
