I watched the first 3 episodes of New Amsterdam and enjoyed them. However, they did not create as much excitement for me as the "Highlander" or "The Man From Earth" movies. Still I expect that the story is still being developed and could become quite fascinating as the series plays out.

Now, a story about a real immortal would create more excitement.

If you are serious about this subject of immortality, then you will be quite interested in my research and findings on this very topic.

I have summarized what I have found on my main blog: www.Ben-Abba.com .

Re: Stopped watching: New Amsterdam, Unhitched

Hi Mike, I think you are on to something here. I watch the FBI dramas, and I like New Amsterdam, but I do think that sometimes the creators of these shows try to put way too much into them. For example, I talked to someone this week who said that Numb3rs was no longer their favorite because the math was just too much for them.

I read a synopsis for Women's Murder Club and found out that all the women have jobs that are related to the law. It's no wonder they can get together and solve crimes..lol! Ah well, I wish you good TV (and TIVO)... ;D

Alexandra's last blog post..Numb3rs Casting Call Spoilers

Re: Stopped watching: New Amsterdam, Unhitched

I think with some shows returning in a few weeks, I just don't have room for it :)

Hope it keeps getting better though.

Re: Stopped watching: New Amsterdam, Unhitched

I watched this week's episode of New Amsterdam online and I thought it was pretty good. So far I like the show. They did more of the show in the past this week, doing a sort of parallel story. I thought it worked well.

Re: Stopped watching: New Amsterdam, Unhitched

It came on last night...

Re: Stopped watching: New Amsterdam, Unhitched

Well, I think it was Sunday night, but yeah, that's the one I skipped...

Re: Stopped watching: New Amsterdam, Unhitched

Was last night's episode of New Amsterdam the only one you've skipped? I haven't seen it yet, but I'm thinking of watching it online and giving it another shot. I still like the concept of it and I've already dumped a bunch of cop shows off my list so I'm thinking I could watch it if they can keep my attention.

Of course, it would have to make it past this season...
