I like your ALL Time favorite... =)

but my choice for current active TV show on right now, would be....
Charlie Crews from Life.

He's smart,funny, essentric, gives you great introspective on how to deal with Life as it treats you...and he is trying to figure out who framed him.


Now if ANYONE puts Jaimie Sommers as their current favorite charecter, I'll buy their mopvie ticket to I AM Legend at MO's movie blog party outting...and yes I'm still watching that trash show

Well, if we work on the assumption that Jack Bauer is the best of the best (and I'm okay with that assumption) it gets a lot harder to pick a favorite. So, I narrowed it down to my top ten favorites...in no particular order:

Coach Eric Taylor - Friday Night Lights
John Sheppard - Stargate: Atlantis
Gil Grissom - CSI:
Shawn Spencer - Psych
Jonas Blane - The Unit
Captain Lee 'Apollo' Adama - Battlestar Galactica
Homer Simpson - The Simpsons
Jack Shephard - Lost
Sheriff Jack Carter - Eureka
Jeff Probst - Survivor (

I realize that Jeff Probst is not technically a character but I would assume he's polished a certain personality that he brings to the show every single time that probably isn't his complete true self.

The list is also short on comic characters. I think that is mostly due to the ensemble nature of the comedies I enjoy watching (The Office, 30 Rock, etc). It's also heavy on sci-fi characters which is something else I enjoy watching.

And no females. Just realized that. Have no idea what that's about. I'm sure a psychologist would have something to say...

Nice Hills line...the fact that you know someone is named Spencer on that show is funny enough to me :)

Jeff is an interesting choice...I do agree he's somewhat of a character.

Lee Adama...he's cool, but never that interesting. I find many others more appealing, like Baltar, Admiral Adama, and Tigh...plus the chief.

And Jack Shephard...very interesting.

Lee Adama is definitley a cool and interesting charecter with trying to manage constant changing new responsibilities (command), handle and juggle relationships with his father and friends (Starbuck), he's always willing to learn and change how he does things, always questions what he is doing and allows for others input instead of hardnosing his way is always right. He's a great interesting charecter!!!

I will say the final episodes this past season, with him leading the trial, have been pretty good. He was amazing in those, especially the finale one I think, at least, when he gave his big speech in the courtroom.

But I don't think the Cap'n has seen this past season, so I should hush on anything else :)

Jack Bauer does deserve a lot of love, but my favorite would have to be Vic Mackey (Michael Chiklis) from The Shield. Although, if Life continues to be as good as it has been so far, Charlie Crews might replace him (at least until Season 7 of The Shield starts next year).

All time favorite: Hoban "Wash" Washburne (Alan Tudyk) from Firefly (FOX should never have cancelled that show).

I fraking loved Firefly, it's one of those shows that I've still not gotten over the cancellation of...

I was also going to add that Mal from Firefly would be one of my all-timers too, second to Fox Mulder. Mal was awesome.

Wash was great...I still remember his final line...

"I am a leaf on the wind..."

I know you'll just roll your eyes Mike but my favorite character right now is Amanda on Ugly Betty. She is able to be catty, shallow and ditzy but for some reason you still love her and just wait for her to be on each episode. I really hope she gets nominated for a supporting actress role one of these days b/c she is so great! Even though you didn't like it, Ugly Betty has been wonderful so far this season and that is such a treat since many returning shows have been kinda sucky up to this point.
Besides UB, I love Creed on the Office. I was just telling Adrian someone should put together a montage of all the random things we've learned about him. He's so mysterious...and creepy...but so so cool. Haha :)
