I guess my two movies I'd bring would be any HD-DVD movie because without a player on the deserted island they would be uselss kinda like they already are today =)
But if there was a player with power etc, I'd bring:
Cast Away - to get my self ready for a life on the island McGuyver, The Return - made for TV movie, in that I wouldnt have to have a life on the island and could learn how to get off it, using just a palma granite and my shoe laces, because I would HAVE to get back to A MO's Life blog!!! Whatever it takes man!!

Like any real man, one would have to the Godfather (note, since I have the set and they are all in one case, I think all 3 should count as 1), the other would be a toss up between Shawshank Redemption and Caddyshack.
