Pop Critics: Tivo Alert: Damages marathon

  • Jina · 2 years ago
My suggestion is to Tivo the marathon (and the finale) and watch one episode each Sunday from 4:00-5:00pm when crappy Football Night in America is on! The Blitz is a much better football recap anyway.

    Less Collingsworth, more Frobisher!

absolutely worth setting your tivo. this is hands down one of the best drama shows on TV right now!

with that said...another thank you to Mike and Jina for telling us about the show!

See, at least ONE guy listens to me :)

Cap'n was supposed to watch the Friday Night Lights marathon, I wonder what happened?

I'm glad you love Damages Mike and I'm sure it's probably a good show. I just can't/won't make room for it, here's why.

As I've said previously I'm not a fan of Glenn Close or Ted Danson, so that's strike one. I'm over my head with shows I'm already recording and can't get to, so that's strike two. I just can't get into another show, I'm watching way too much as it is, so strike three. Not to mention somebody got me into blogging recently which is sucking out every last minute I may have had left and I like that better than most of what I'm already watching. ;-)

Finally, ease up on Dancing with the Stars. You and I might hate it and it may not be great TV, but it gets American Idol ratings, so somebody besides Deb is watching it. And I have a hunch your wife would given the opportunity. ;-)

    Excuses excuses... :)

    A few things:

I wasn't a fan of either of those two before I watched this show

I have been getting rid of shows to make room for better ones. I'm not even going to keep watching Reaper even though I liked it. I may be dropping more.

Finally, I could leave the house with Jina in complete control of the TV and she wouldn't watch Dancing with the Stars :)

Not that there is anything wrong with that :)

of course not, people should feel free to watch whatever they want... ;-)
