Pretty exciting episode...Prison Break in it's full form.
Chuck was, as usual, very entertaining. We got a lot of backstory on Sarah's character and Yvonne Strahovski did some of her best acting to date as they jumped between the present to flashbacks as her playing a dorky high school student. In the first few scenes, I thought they found a young actress that just looked a lot like Strahovski, but no it was all her. Adam Baldwin didn't have much dialog but punctuated a bunch of scenes with hilarious facial expressions. Nichole Richie was actually pretty good in her guest role.
The Sarah Connor Chronicles had one its best episodes yet (that’s two in a row). They finally dumped the long intro and began with "last week on…" straight to the first scene. Despite using yet another 'future rebellion fighter and a T-800/888 coming back in time' plot device, the episode had great acting all around and finally filled us in on why John has been acting so odd this season as well as advancing the overall story. The meeting and eventual fight sequence between Cameron and the T-800/888 was wonderfully done… almost comical actually. Even the Catherine Weaver stuff is being fleshed out and improving. I'm very happy FOX picked it up for a full season. The show is improving with each episode and has huge potential.
HIMYM answered the question of whether or not Stella was "the mother" in a funny, well-written ep.
Heroes was better than it has been all season, which isn't saying much. I'll miss the Adam Monroe character as he seemed to be the only hero/villain with an actual personality. Seriously, the show needs an injection of… something. The few characters that used to actually emote (Peter, Mohinder, Hiro, Ando, Clair, etc.) are all SO damn serious now. At least actor David Anders (Monroe) gave the show a few very brief moments of levity this season.
I couldn’t stay up for My Own Worst Enemy. I’ll check that out tonight.
All in all, an above average evening of television. Good thing the Monday night football game was a blowout or I would have had some serious DVR issues.
