  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
    ROTFL @ Banya!
  • Cap'n Schwartz · 1 year ago
The Cap'n says: Megatron (AKA Mr. MBE1), Darth Vader, Hans Gruber, Hannibal Lecter, Bryan Singer (cause alot of you think Superman returns was crap), Norman Bates, Alex Forrest (Fatal Attraction, Glenn Close), Michael Corleone (The Godfather), HAL 9000, The Alien (from Alien), Freddy Krueger, The Joker (wait till the dark to know what I mean), Lex luthor...
  • Cap'n Schwartz · 1 year ago
oh and one more.... Tony Camonte (Scarface)
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
Funny, I thought of HAL as well...nice.
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
You thought HAL was nice? LOL

That's a computer gone insane - just nuts.
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
Nice list - looks like we hit on some of the same ones - HAL is definitely scary.
  • The Kid and I · 1 year ago
    Who's HAL?
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
It's the spaceship in 2001: A Space Odyessy - extremely evil...
  • The Kid and I · 1 year ago
    Ah.

  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
Keyzer is one of my favorite bad guys. :)

And I was going to put the monkey from Donkey Kong - but I don't know what his name is...
  • beatles367 · 1 year ago
yeah dude seriously... fuckin bill from kill bill should win this shit.
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
While Bill is a good choice, how could he win anything? He never even did ANYTHING in the movie really but get his butt kicked at the end :)
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
He did shoot the Bride in the head without hesitation...that's pretty cold blooded.
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
Well, I guess that's true, but anyone can shoot someone in the head :)
  • Dadofiandi · 1 year ago
I want to nominate Kevin Spacey in his role in "Swimming with Sharks" , although Frank Whaley does tie him up.
    Magneto
The guy from No Country for Old Men
    The Monarch
    mr.Glass
    the Thing (from The Thing)
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
The guy from No Country for Old Men is Anton Chigurh and he was extremely eeeeevil. Nice addition!
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
Agreed, Anton is a great choice.
  • R.A. Porter · 1 year ago
Whaley is *way* more evil in that movie. Poor Michelle Forbes.
  • Dadofiandi · 1 year ago
Boy you sure have it for Michelle Forbes.
  • R.A. Porter · 1 year ago
Mmmmm. Miranda Zero. Admiral Cain. The love of my life!
    :)
  • nicky · 1 year ago
I will of course nominate Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) from American Psycho.
  • Cap'n Schwartz · 1 year ago
Nicky GREAT PICK!!! I never saw that movie until very recently, cant believe i didnt think of that one! Definitely should be on the list... noone can do chainsaw art like PB!!
  • nicky · 1 year ago
yes, i never knew a murderous prepster could be so attractive. it made me feel very conflicted. ;)
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
    Nice Nicky!
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
Yeah - he was nuts - totally forgot about him.
  • Cap'n Schwartz · 1 year ago
Ape I'm not sure how I could have missed Saurman, GREAT CATCH MAN!!! oooohhh and #17 Mr. blonde another great one =) but Hans Greuber has to be the smartest bad dude out there... nice lists so far
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
    Thanks - I try...
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
Ugh - how could I forget...

The Six-Fingered Man (The Princess Bride)
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
And another one - Mike from Session 9 - that dude was baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.
  • DLWhite · 1 year ago
Uh... you mean "Simon", not Mike...
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
I'm pretty sure it was Mike - but I might be wrong I guess...
  • DLWhite · 1 year ago
Mike is the lawyer / law student guy...
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
I had checked IMDB before posting - maybe I can't recognize faces anymore...
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
If your wife is telling you you're wrong, you may as well just admit it and get that pain over with
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
    LOL
  • DLWhite · 1 year ago
    lol
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
After further review (and some IM chatting) I have come to the conclusion that I am mistaken...
  • DLWhite · 1 year ago
It’s kinda hard to discuss the villain in this movie… since I know some people disagree on who exactly it is… It’s also hard to discuss it here in the open forum without ruining the movie for people who haven’t seen it yet.
  • Cap'n Schwartz · 1 year ago
I feel ya bro... once, I thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken.
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
    Ha
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
Is Spike Lee considered evil for bagging on Clint Eastwood?
  • R.A. Porter · 1 year ago
Lex is obvious, but just in case, I and my avatar want to make sure no one ever forgets that magnificent bastard.

    1. Billy Mumy's character, Anthony Fremont, from the classic Twilight Zone episode "It's a Good Life". Gives me creeps just thinking about him sending people into the cornfield.
    2. Jason Voorhees. As unstoppable and indestructible a force as John McClane is for good, Jason is for evil.
    3. Same with Michael Myers.
    4. Arjen Rudd, the South African baddie from Lethal Weapon 2: "Diplomatic Immunity!"
    5. Gilligan. Watch it again.
    6. Arvin Sloane.
    7. J.R. Ewing
    8. The Ice Truck Killer
    9. Mitch Leary - John Malkovich's character from In the Line of Fire
    10. Antoine Mitchell from The Shield
    11. Depending on your point of view, Vic Mackey
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
    Arvin Sloane...nice one.
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
I'm going to disagree with the Ice Truck Killer because I thought Lila was far more dangerous than he was.
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
I don't even think I know who the Ice Truck Killer is??
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
That's probably because you haven't watched Dexter...
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
Dang, can't believe I just thought of this guy:

The Cigarette Smoking Man from X-Files.
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
I'm guessing lung cancer is kicking his butt right now...
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
    He'd still own you
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
Good thing I'm not fighting him then. :)
  • Dadofiandi · 1 year ago
ugh spent too much time thinking of bad guys and you beat me to the punch
  • Electronic Control · 1 year ago
wheres the chart of all this so i can study it up? o_O
    -Jerry
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
We'll get a chart up in a few days
  • Cap'n Schwartz · 1 year ago
    What about Gaius Baltar?
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
Gaius maybe...not a bad pick. Always good to have someone from BSG on it, although maybe Caprica Six would be better.
  • daddyjason · 1 year ago
William 'Bill' Munny (Clint Eastwood's character) from Unforgiven or
Little Bill Daggett (Gene Hackman's character) from Unforgiven
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
I really need to watch this movie again, I only saw it once.
  • daddyjason · 1 year ago
    Sometimes you make me sad.
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
I have that affect on people
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
Actually, I remember when I first saw it that it seemed very boring to me and I couldn't believe it won an Oscar for Best Picture.

But I think I was young and just didn't appreciate it. Definitely need to rent it.
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
Yes - you must watch it again. I hated Westerns and some friends of mine literally dragged me to the theater to watch this movie and I'm glad they did. It was a well-done film and Clint was terrific in it. I loved it - I might even own it, I'm not sure...
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
Did you ever see Silverado? That's pretty much my favorite Western...
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
No - I have never been a Western movie fan. I haven't watched any John Wayne movies or Clint Eastwood Westerns except for The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly and Unforgiven.

Blazing Saddles is more my speed.
  • daddyjason · 1 year ago
    Silverado is definitely good.
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
    "Where's the dog?"
  • daddyjason · 1 year ago
Great, great, great movie. I'm sure you would feel differently about it now.
  • JP Anda · 1 year ago
Good call on Salieri from Amadeus waaay up by the top. He totally owned Mozart in the best way (too bad God kinda ended up owning him).
William Munny from Unforgiven also a good choice.
    Emperor Ming from Flash Gordon
Jean Baptiste Emanuele Zorg from The Fifth Element
    The Alien from Alien
    Bill Lumberg from Office Space
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
Okay, Bill Lumberg is awesome :)

Also, what about The Soup Nazi on Seinfeld? :)
  • JP Anda · 1 year ago
LOL good choice, really had to dig deep to remember that one :)

Also, im surprised no ones said Khan (KHAAAAAAAAAAAAN!)
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
    Khan...is...awesome.

Love it! Someone give JP a point, I can't :(
  • Cap'n Schwartz · 1 year ago
OMG HOW DID WE EVER FORGET THIS... fine fine choice....cant believe of all people the Capn didnt come up with this.... I blame Jason, some how its his fault I didnt think of it... GREAT CATCH JP Anda!!!!
  • daddyjason · 1 year ago
    Yeah, it's probably my fault.
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
Soup Nazi wasn't evil - but real Nazi's are.
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
Yeah - God took him down a few notches...
  • Mike · 1 year ago
Angel Eyes (The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly)
Anton Chigurh (No Country for Old Men)
  • JP Anda · 1 year ago
    Adrian Veidt/Ozymandias from Watchmen
  • Dadofiandi · 1 year ago
    Spoiler alert
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
The graphic novel is 23 years old :)
  • Clarknk · 1 year ago
    The predator
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
    I like this pick :)
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
    You putting the bracket together?
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
Yeah, I'm going to post my Top 32, and then list the rest who didn't make it, and see if everyone agrees on it, then we'll post the official brackets and lay out a schedule.
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
Sweet. I was actually thinking about it yesterday morning and almost emailed you in case you forgot about it. :)
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
I almost did :) I think tonight I'll bust it out and post it for tomorrow...
  • DLWhite · 1 year ago
How about Agent Smith from "the Matrix"?
  • Cap'n Schwartz · 1 year ago
Agent Smith another great one, man we have a better bad guy list than good guy list....
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
    Tru dat...double tru.
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
Yeah, Agent Smith is great, and Cap'n is right
  • Daniel Ha · 1 year ago
Oh man, I have so many favorite "villains" in movies. I gotta think about this before I throw out a predictable answer.
  • Alina · 1 year ago
My favorite picks mentioned above are Anton Chigurh, Hannibal Lecter, Agent Smith, Patrick Bateman and predictably, Darth Vader.

I would add Jesus, from the Big Lebowski (8 year olds, dude!), Scorpio from Dirty Harry and Jean Baptiste Grenouille (The perfume).
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
I still haven't seen the Big Lebowski yet, I suck :(
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
You haven't seen the Big Lebowski? That is a classic man - a classic. Get thyself to hulu and watch it NOW.
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
I could never watch a movie on Hulu...ugh.

    I'll rent it soon.
  • Cap'n Schwartz · 1 year ago
G4 shows this movie like every Saturday (its the only movie they own the rights to I think)
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
Is that like TNT always showing the Blade movies on the weekends. That's actually how I know it's the weekend, when I turn on the TV and see Blade...
  • Cap'n Schwartz · 1 year ago
    LOL..its EXACTLY that
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
Warning - the first time I saw it, I thought it was mildly funny. But the more I have watched it, the more I appreciate the subtleness of it all - it's truly a riot of a film. It has a high re-viewing factor to it I think.
  • daddyjason · 1 year ago
I think I've mentioned this before, but...sometimes, you make me sad.
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
You make me sad too...didn't like Clerks? WTFrak? :)
  • daddyjason · 1 year ago
Hmmm...I think almost anyone would say The Big Lebowski is funnier than Clerks. I could be mistaken, but if they said differently, they'd be wrong.
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
    I concur with that.
  • MadFan · 1 year ago
Ohhh yay I've been looking forward to this!!
My list of nominees would be:
1- Freddy Krueger (Freddy Vs. Jason).
2- Jason Voorhees (Freddy Vs. Jason).
    3- Predator (The Predator).
4- Predator Alien (Predator Vs. Alien 2) [The huge Alien that came out of a Predator].
    5- Mikhail Bakunin (Lost).
    6- Ben Linus (Lost).
    7- Sylar (Heroes).
    8- Sammy (Prison Break).
9- Susan B. Anthony (Prison Break) (Bad Girl I guess...).

17- Wah Sing Ku (Lethal Weapon 4, played by Jet Li).
18- Agent Smith (The Matrix series).
19- T-1000 (Terminator 2, played by Robert Patrick).
20- Mr. Freeze / Dr. Victor Fries (Batman & Robin, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger).
21- Mai (Die Hard 4) (Bad Girl I guess...). (Might be mistaken about this one, memory failing me).
22- Col. William Tavington (The Patriot).
23- Gabriel Yulaw (The One, played by Jet Li).
    24- Goblin (Spider Man).

I guess that's my list, that's all I can remember.. for now o.o
  • Mike Olbinski · 1 year ago
Nice list, but you have THREE PEOPLE from Prison Break, lol :)

I do like the T-Bag pick though.
  • MadFan · 1 year ago
6 people from Prison Break actually. But that's only because the show is full of bad guys :(
  • The Trousered Ape · 1 year ago
It should be - aren't they all in prison? lol
