X-Files 2 finally gets title: “I Want To Believe”

With the opening of X-Files 2 on July 25th, it seemed like the decision on an official title for the movie was starting to cut it pretty close. But finally today, we get a title and it’s one that relates to the very beginning of the series.

  • GREAT Title. Other than "The Truth is Out There", I don't think there is a better one.

    It implies a mysteriousness that is great and in tune with the show. What should we want to believe? I think that line sums up the entire show.
  • Good, I'm glad you like it...I'm hoping more agree, because really it's a tough one to look at and wonder how people will take it.

  • The title should have been "X-Files, Somebody land Scully already for Crying out loud!!" course, thats just me... :)

  • i actually thought 'believe again' was better (as mentioned on www.xfilesnews.com). Nevertheless, a classic phrase from those days.
